Kombucha SCOBY
A SCOBY is a Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast, which is a cellulose mat that is needed to house the bacteria and yeast cultures that turn sweet tea into kombucha.
Contains: 1 x SCOBY in 1/2 cup of starter liquid in a resealable plastic pouch.
The SCOBY is approximately 8cm in diameter and will grow to the size of your vessel, so jars with a larger surface area will create a larger SCOBY.
It is recommended to have a glass jar of between 1-2 litres.

Brewing Process

Organic Tea
We make a sweet tea by brewing green and black tea.

Organic Sugar
Add purified water, raw sugar and allow the brew to ferment.

Organic SCOBY
Add the Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast (SCOBY) to the brew.

Natural Flavouring
Flavour with fruit and allow to infuse.
